We can assist you in obtaining a Texas Bonded Titles If you do not have acceptable evidence of ownership for a vehicle you own. A bonded title is transferable if you sell it in Texas and most other states. It can also be registered with license plates. After 3 years, you can apply to have the bonded title remark removed.

Determine Your Eligibility
In order to qualify, you must be a Texas resident or military personnel stationed in Texas. Although not required to be operational, it must be a complete vehicle including a frame, body and motor or if a motorcycle, a frame and motor.
- The vehicle must be subject to the Texas Certificate of Title Act, Transportation Code Chapter 501.
- The vehicle must be eligible to be registered and/or titled in Texas and is in the possession of, and legally controlled by, the title applicant.
- If there is no Texas record, the applicant must provide VIN verification by providing a completed Law Enforcement Identification Number Inspection (Form VTR-68A). I can assist you in locating the auto theft location closest to you.
- An acceptable form of identification is required, such as driver’s license, Texas ID, passport or other government issued photo ID may be acceptable.
- If vehicle record contains a lien less than 10 years old, we will need to obtain verification that the lien was paid. (If you have the title and lien is signed off by lienholder, that is acceptable).

If you make an error, draw one line through it and initial next to your correction. Statement of Fact Form (see below): Print, complete, and sign this form. (Discard page 2 as it is not needed.) Power of Attorney Form (see below): Print, complete, and sign this form. (This form will give me permission to file these documents for you, and make corrections for you if needed.)
A Copy of the Following Items:
- Bill of Sale or documents you received from the seller (if you have them)
- Your driver’s license, Texas ID or other Government issued photo ID
- (Note: You may be required to obtain an Auto Theft Inspection (if there is no Texas record.)
Mail the forms and copies of above listed documents to me with the fee quoted to you.

How Long Will It Take?
Once all items and payment are received, it will take me 5-7 days to file the documents with the state and obtain your bond. After you receive the bond and documents from me, take them to your county tax office to file within 30 days. You will need to pay sales tax at that time. Some counties may require you to complete additional forms. After filing, You will receive your title in approximately 3 weeks from Austin, TX.
